Email privacy and preferences
Updated October 26, 2026
When you join the BarOBar opening-news list, we collect your email address and your consent to receive opening updates and invitations. Joining does not confirm a reservation or guarantee an invitation.
What we keep
We store your email, the time you signed up, and the version of the consent text you agreed to. We use a temporary one-way code derived from your network address to limit repeated submissions. The signup database does not store your full network address.
How it is used
We use the list for BarOBar opening news and invitations. We do not sell the signup list. Vercel hosts this website and provides bot protection; Neon provides the private database. Those providers process technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
Access and security
Signup details are sent over HTTPS and are stored in a private database accessed by the server. The public website has no subscriber-list or download endpoint. Authorized BarOBar operators can access the list through the database account.
Removal and questions
To stop receiving updates or request removal of your signup, email info@barobarnc.com from the address you registered. Please include “Remove me from opening news” in the subject. We keep the signup while you remain on the opening-news list or until you request removal.
This page covers the opening-news form. If BarOBar adds reservations, payments, or other services, the relevant privacy information will be provided with those services.
